Bulk wine is marketed in a container of more than 10 liters in order to be fractionated at destination, either by another winery in the country or one abroad, and may first be used to improve or produce a new cut of wines (blend) or bottled directly without any change in bottles, aluminum cans or bag-in box for the final consumer.
This way, it is understood that what defines the bulk category is only the volume of the container in which the wine is marketed without making any difference in quality. VARIETAL WINES
Varietal, in enology, is the name by which the wine made with a majority type of grape is commonly known, it may also include some other type of grape, but always as a residual complement. This type of wine must be made from 85% of the indicated variety.
